Very durable, heavy duty.A must haveThis hose fits like the original one.the hose doesn't really last long it should be more durable I live up north and depend on my pellet stove cleaning every 4 daysExcellent buyGetting the extra long hose for my Power Smith Ash Vacuum was necessary to allow the hose to be threaded up the flue of my woodstove for proper cleaning. My woodstove sits on the hearth in front of a deep fireplace which makes proper cleaning a bit challenging. This long hose really boosts the cleaning capability of the vacuum allowing me to reach areas where the creosote is deposited. It is stiff enough to be advanced up and over the stove baffle shelf and to reach into the actual stovepipe which is behind the woodstove and sweeps 90 degrees up into the chimney. I can also direct the hose down into the creosote catch chamber (the other leg of the T) at the bottom of the stovepipe. I'm very happy that I purchased this longer hose.My pellet stove insert is on the wall next to my garage I bored a hole through the cement wall into the garage and use this to extend from a ash vacuum in the garage to a wall receptacle so I can clean out my pellet stove with the ash vacuum in the garage. its metal lined and appears to be made well. Also bought woods outlet remote from amazon to turn the vacuum on and off.I bought a Snow Joe Ash Vacuum which I really like but the hose that came with it was only 3 feet long. Just too short to reach from the ground into my smoker. So I ordered this hoping I might be able to either replace the short hose or find a way to connect them together. As it turned out one end of this hose will fit over the Snow Joe short 3 foot hose connector rather well. A little duct tape I am good-to-go. This longer hose is well made with a metal lining. Seems durable and I expect it to last a long time. Recommended.Perfect size!. We needed this to clean our liner of chimney and it did it... it was the perfect length with the vacuum.. it will a great help in future cleanings..Power smith makes a great product. I use it to clean my outdoor wood furnace.Good quality.
