My dealer gave me a 25' garage hose with my central vacuum, which is great to use as a utility hose. However, it had a tough time reaching the opposite corner of my garage, and I wanted the ability to vacuum cars out in my driveway, without having to install an inlet at the end of my garage. I have a 2 car garage with an extra half-tandem bay at the back, where I installed my power unit. This adds about 10' of extra length for a hose.The 50' hose is very long, but works great for that purpose. The included tools are nice, though I have several shop vacs worth of tools between the garage kit my dealer gave me, and other machines that I've bought. The mesh bag stores all of my vacuum tools, and hangs on the hose hanger above the machine.The best part of this hose is that it has swivel-fittings on both ends. You can dump the hose on the ground, and it will uncoil itself as you pull it away from the central vac. It has a contact ring for standard valves (to automatically turn on when connected) which works great if I use this in a another part of the house.I'd recommend putting the hanger as high as possible, and coiling the hose in very long loops, to not overfill the hose hanger.A nice upgrade for our central vacuum system. It’s nice to have a hose and attachments dedicated to garage use. The accessories are all sized to be perfect to use while you’re cleaning your car’s interior.Product appears well made for price. No holder came as pictured. Amazon was generous in their refund to compensate for this lack and I was able to purchase a branded hose holder with enough left over to cover my time and trouble.I purchased the 30 foot for my shop then the 50 foot set for my garage. The hose it very durable and will take a lot of punishment and the enclosed tool set takes care of most vacuuming requirements. And YES, it does come with the net bag to store your tools! If you want to use it with your Shop Vac of any brand you will need to purchase an adapter, probably an 1 1/4" Male to 2 1/2" female. Verify your hose size 1st!I purchased this adapter on Amazon. AGAIN, this is a great hose and tool set. I definitely recommend this product!!It's been perfect for use in my garage as well as my patio. The hose is easy to move around and the attachments are great! I recently had the main attachment pop off and couldn't figure out how to repair it. Luckily Cen-Tex gave me the secret (reverse threading) to screw it back on. I recommend this product.I love this Centec garage kit, it comes with everything in the picture. Floor brush, crevice tool, mesh bag, and all the brush heads and wall hanger. Good 30' length and it just plugs in the central vacuum inlet (1.5") and I just turn the central vacuum on. Works perfectly.Hose works great and fits shopvac attachments perfectly!I got two of these kits, one for garage and the other for my unfinished basement. The quality is good, hose is very lightweight, which I consider a plus. My only negative comment is that neither kit came with the mesh bag for accessories. Disappointed with that, but I can find a bag that will work. Also, one of the product photos shows a small round brush attachment -- this brush did not come with either kit. The product description does not list this brush, but it is in the photo. One other small complaint -- the product box was very loosely taped together, so perhaps some parts fell out? The Amazon box it was delivered in was secure, but the product box itself looked like it was taped together by a 5 year old.The grip can catch your skins. It doesn’t hurt but an annoyance. No real handle. Other than that it’s fine. Price is good and delivery was quick.
