Unfortunately not a made in USA product but most products are no longer made in this country anymore anyways.Our household has gone through lots of thermos. I realized based on experience that the one-touch open mouth thermos and the flip spout thermos are items I will stay away from in future. Firstly those springs don't last long. Secondly, it's the grime that cannot be washed that is scary!!! Yes those one touch button thermos are fun and easy to use but again didn't last long. With my last thermos I pried it open to attempt to see if I can fix the spring; to my disgust, there was grime that accumulated over the months that was not washable even after prying the cap open. Hopefully just coffee and tea stains and nothing else. I also am unable to clean those rectangular flip mouth piece thermos to be free of the grime. Anyhow just thinking about it makes me irk.This thermos looks like it was designed old fashion way but if you look at the screw, it's different, especially designed so it allows you to pour without fully removing the screw. It pours without splatter even if 1 cup away from the cup. But if you position higher, splattering may occur But why would you pour from way up there?!?!It's still a new thermos to our household. So far no complaints of the function of the Thermos. The longest i ever tested product for it's ability to keep the liquid hot was for 9 hours. For 9 hours, my hot water remained piping hot!!! Definitely hot enough to cook the cup of noodles to perfection.The only cons I have is for its packaging! It came in a flimsy plastic covering. Worse part was that there was a piece of paper inside thermos that molded to the thermos and does not come out after flipping it upside down. Thankfully I have ok chopsticks skills but I guess you can use tweezers if you flip it upside down. Turns out it was instructions with warranty info. But if you don't have chopsticks or tweezers and don't care much about the instructions, I say the paper will break apart with hot water, may take longer with cold water.Price I paid before taxes: $22.09.
