My mother in law gave be a giant hotel-style vacuum a few years ago and I love it. It's heavy and bulky and uses bags but it gets deep and removes the cat hair from carpet, which is all that counts. This is the second time I've ordered these bags and they last a long time. They never ripped and I've never had any issues or accidents with them. I did vacuum around the fireplace last year and sucked in amber in the bag. Well, it started smoking of course but I quickly removed the bag, ripped it open and poured water on it. =D User error not product error. Great bags and good quality. Wish the price was cheaper but I wish everything was cheaper so there's that.
