I have a cordless Dyson that I use around the apartment. I lent it to my friend for a little while and because he owns a big dog, the Dyson trapped dog dander inside, which smelled disgusting. I took it apart to wash everything and it still smelled terrible. Anyway, found out that this was a great product to use so I purchased and tried it. Long story short, it worked beautifully. My vacuum no longer smells bad. The best part is, that even after emptying the beads and dirt out of the canister, the fragrance stayed in the vacuum for roughly 2 months and I use the Dyson weekly. Great value for the money. The only thing I would say is if you have a sensitive nose, the fragrance might be too strong for you, so just a heads up.Thank you! thank you! thank you!I was caring for my grand dog who had seizures often and created horrible smells in my vacuum cleaner. Our vacuum cleaner used to put out hot, dog-scented air. Yuck! These beads are easy to dump a capful of them into our bagless vacuum and, now when we vacuum, our rooms smell like lemon lime!Honestly, I don't know what I was expecting. I think I got caught up with the other reviews and the gimmick of this item.Upon opening the package I found a rather small plastic bottle filled with lime scented beads. The beads smell nice. I can't lie. The smell is refreshing and light and nice.I followed the directions and put the beads inside of the filter part of my vacuum. Using the vacuum each time it emits a nice lime smell. It doesn't really stay in the air. It kind of disappears quickly.I took a few tablespoons of the beads and I put them inside of a small glass dish and I put it on a shelf in my living room by the front door.You could very very very faintly get a mild whiff when you came through the door but it was more like an afterthought or one of those "did I just smell something?" Take on things.Definitely stronger in the filter part of my vacuum cleaner, but again I believe this is more of a pricey gimmick versus anything that provides any long lasting odor relief.I like that the item does have a faint fresh smell versus very floral and chemical like.Even pouring a good amount of the beads directly into a glass dish didn't do much. I had to refresh the beads completely after a week or two of every other day use.This really takes away bad smells in the vacuum, I have a Dyson thats bagless and a pet. I cleaned out all parts with soap and bleach, with still a small amout of odor. I ordered these beads after reading reviews to give them a try and was was pleased, smells really fresh which I like. No more bad vacuum odors. I will definitely order again. I used a cap full in the container. I recommend this product.I really like this product never thought it would be so effective. Putting some beads into my vacuum cleaner helps keep the dirt smell down and gives a nice smell in the air. Great product.My vacuum was starting to smell a bit stale once the bag starts to get filled so I purchased this and it really helps. Just sprinkle some in the bag and in the canister.Our vacuum smelled like our dog every time we used it until we found this product. Dog smell gone and I’m it’s place a pleasingly fresh scent.Used in our Miele vacuum to help make the room smell better when vacuuming.
