I actually really love these. I had no issues with the pump at all and these fit into my carry on such is smaller than most. I was able to fit 5 days worth of clothes in my bag. Game changer for my packing. I do wish they had smaller sizes though! I got the small and they still are almost too big. A must have for any trip you don't wish to check a bag for!The product seemed to work fine and came with a little hand pump that was able to suck out most of the air. It felt like more air was removed right below the suction Port then in other areas of the bag though. Other than that it would have been five stars.The pump falls apart almost immediately but the bags work great. A normal vacuum with a hose works perfectly and if you are traveling you can slowly roll the bag to force the air out. The pump is mostly annoying that it doesn't work but not a deal break for the bagsOf course, of course, i read the stack of poor reviews after ive got the damn thing.Well heres what ive got. Creating my bugout bags im storing full sets of clothes. So long term storage and hope i never need it. I have a vacuum sealer, ive got most of my items heat sealed.I open the box, the size is bigger than I imagined. I folded and put the shirt and pants in the bag. Finger slid the zip, used the plastic twice. and got my vac out to start doing its job, bad seal on the vacuum… ok hand pump. Well thats faster than I imagined. Ok this is good.Well ok, there it is. Like other bags, you should always check on them as time goes by. They seem to be sealed and have a good vacuum. So now i wait… 3 stars until i can say i have confidence.There is a nice mix of bags for a great price. The seal for one of the bag didn't work, and needed a cap to prevent air from getting in.Bought to put holiday inflatables in to save on room worked perfectThese bags are very spacious; they hold comforters and heavy blankets and after using the vacuum they really compress the items, making them a lot smaller. After I bought one box, I ordered another one.Unfortunately, with all the extra attention to make sure the zipper is securely closed, within 24 hour 8 out of 10 bags leaked. So much for space saving... Too much trouble to take all the items out of the bags. They are still protected from dust but the second box goes back unopened!Perfect size bags to organize my winter clothes and store them. Each bag holds a good amount of clothing, easy to stack on the shelf. I really like the plastic ‘key’ on the zipper opening, that slides back and forth to ensure a complete close and seal. I used a vacuum hose instead of the hand tool to suction out air and shrink the packages. Originally I had ordered three large bags a few years ago, but too many clothes and the bulkiness made a large size inefficient for me. I keep all ten bags on two shelves in my closet.Haven't had these long enough to know how well they stay sealed, only time will tell. They are good for when you are moving house.
