This is the second vacuum I’ve purchased and I liked the first one so much I didn’t hesitate to purchase an identical one. I have a self cleaning vacuum but I enjoy vacuuming the pool myself. This is easy to use and set up. The brushes on the bottom help push debris into the suction area. Don’t leave it out in the sun though. The sun dries out the brushes and they will fall out.Hopefully it will be as durable as my last and similar vacuum head. Had to replace a 15 year old vacuum head.I live in update NY, and have an Intex 16' pool. The area we placed our pool is surrounded by oak trees. We also have an issue with wind, and every cover we've put on pool flys off and rips. So we just let nature take its course..This spring, the amount of leaves decomposing in the bottom of pool was phenomenal.. and when I finally got them all out, it looked like a bog. With Memorial weekend coming I went to extreme measures to prepare pool and used "green to blue". Wow! Water crystal clear! But the amount of ick on pool floor?!?!?Well, it was way too much for my little Scooba vacuum stick to handle so I went searching for a vacuum head that could! I found this PoolMaster 27514 Clear Triangle Classic, specifically for vinyl pools!Let me tell you! We used the old vacuum stick for 3 days trying to clean pool.. with this head we we done in a couple of hours. I received this Wednesday, and yesterday, Friday, kiddo and myself spent the day playing in the pool!It is extremely simple. Just hook your existing vacuum hose to the vacuum head and the pump, and attach your expandable pole. Turn pump to waste and vacuum away! Now if you have the cartridge filter pump that comes with an Intex pool.. I don't know if this will work.. I have a sand filter on mine. And for my set up this vacuum head is wonderful!Broke after the first season.Worked pretty good, is a little stiff and sometimes have to go over multiple timesOur pool hose has a swivel fitting on one end - this was the end that fit the brush well and stayed on the entire time. The other NON swivel end did not perform well - the hose did not fit the brush tight and came off frequently (until the ends were reversed).Like the clear, see through, feature. Lets you know when additional pressure is required to "scrub" the dirt loose from the pool surface. Once loose the suction is sufficient to remove the debris. The connecting piece for the pool pole seems sturdy enough. The brushes are firm and hold the suction area off the pool vinyl surface. This is actually the 2nd Poolmaster triangular vacuum head I have purchased. The 1st lasted me 2 swim seasons and would have lasted longer had I not broken it. I dropped it just right and hit the corner cracking it beyond repair. The shape of the brush head does an excellent job of reaching the corners of my pool and the staggered layout of the brushes keep it mostly from getting clogged unless there are large leaves in the pool. The skippers mostly take care of those though. The translucent color is a must as it allows me to see if something didn't get picked up or if the hose gets clogged. This is basically the same brush head I have seen locally sold under a couple different brands but at a much better price. The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is I wish it were heavier. While it does do a decent job of staying on the bottom while vacuuming, if it were heavier I could vacuum more quickly (or at a lower rpm on my pump) without it lifting up. All in all a good value though. It got stains after a month use (used very lightly as we have an automatic cleaner. Quite heavy and not easy to maneuver.I didn’t find this Vaccum very helpful unless I did not use it properly.Excellent value vacuum.First off this vacuum head has 'bumpers' to protect your pool, good idea, however this means the brush heads sit in a good 2 inches or more from the edge of the vacuum head making it impossible to clean the edges and corners of your pool ... useless. Then the pin that holds the vacuum head to the pole is not long enough to stay in place so the pole constantly comes off ... not good when the vacuum head is at the bottom of a 9' pool. Even worse, the vacuum hose won't stay attached to this item as the connection is too narrow and it also kept falling off and again leaving my vacuum head at the bottom of the pool. But it has company as 3 of the brush heads also fell off and came to an untimely death at the bottom of the pool.Purchased June 2021, used for the remaining half of summer 2021 (July/ August) and now again June 2022. Broke on the pool pole attachment piece. I am carefull to sweep only frobt/back and not sideways, but somehow too much pressure on thw mount bracket broke it. They certainly don't make things like they used to. I expect the brush brisels to wear out (and they are replaceable) but not the main vacumm frame. Also make sure that the vacuum does not sit in UV sunshine and is kept in shade all day.I have had similar vacuum head for well over 5 years and have been very satisfied with it. It does the job it was designed to do. I have a liner pool and the vacuum head slides over the liner effortlessly. I have left the vacuum head exposed to the elements and this could have the cause of its demise. The casing cracked and eventually the hose connection has become distorted and difficult to use. I intend to shield the new one from direct sunlight and bring it indoor in the winter.Who knows, may be it will give me a few extra years of service. For the price you pay and the service you receive in return you really can't complain if it lasted another 5 years.I definitely recommend it without hesitation.
