I don't know about others, but I usually sweep the floors before washing them and then had to sweep them again because of residues. With this Crosswave, it does it all in one. It is very well built, a bit of work to clean, heavy item, but well worth it. I thought I had clean floors... Guess again, this extracts all the dirt that a regular mop and vaccum leaves behind. (I did test it) One small downside, it does not clean in hard to reach areas like behind the toilet bowl because of the bulkyness of the item. All in all, you need a bit of practice to get a hang of it. Like going easy with the spray. Do a second pass right after you do 3 or 4 strokes (small area) by just using the vaccum so your floors dry very fast. I'm a strong large size person and it is easy on floors but quite tough on carpets due to the strong succion and heavy item. Great bang for your bucks. I don't buy their extremely expensive cleaners. I use vinegar, bleach, or well known cheaper alternative cleaners. I even do my deck with it. If you are a clean freak like me, this is the item!
